Every new web application project that comes into Triad brings a new set of challenges. Typically, they also come with a very tight turn-around time and specific style guidelines to adhere to. Since I spend about 65% of my time on the front-end design flats, our team is left with approximately 35% of our allotted time/budget to get our comps into a static front-end followed by code behind functionality. I’d like to share a little bit about the process I focus on during the 35% sprint to transition my designs from compositions to a static coded UI.
The process I have found to be the most effective is to start with the most basic of elements and work the design in from broad to detail.
